I'm about ready to be happy to see the back of Phil Neville and his incessant bleating.

I thought he was a good solid professional, but trying to put a positive spin on last weekend with “Maybe it was a blessing because it reminded us we’re not at the level we need to be at". Do me a favour...

Neville seems to take issue with the players thinking that they are better than they are and can just turn up and expect three points sometimes...I'm not putting words in his mouth but he's said words to that effect on a number of times, and in relation to our slow starts.

Sometimes though what he says can come arcoss a bit poorly, like Moes saying he went to newcastle not expecting to get anything. He was very much taking about the ref but some fans took it the wrong way about the game itself.

Think Neville can be taken the wrong way like that too. But really he just wants his plyers working hard and not getting ahead of themselves.... although personally, I'd have thought getting beat by QPR would have knocked that out of them long before Stoke turned us over.

theres no point him thinking they are worse than they are, not going to give them confidence is it?

Point I was trying and more than likely failing to make in a Phil Neville type manner is....the players are as good as they are....but there is little point them thinking that they'll won three points before the game has started.
