I don't think you understand what a petition is. You're not going against the state if you sign it. The government already know everything about you anyway.

you are indirectly cos its like saying you dont think the government are doing a good job in the city lad

Good to see that revolutionary students with a campaigning outlook still exist.........

TKD. Signing this does not mean you are being critical of the government. Not that there's anything wrong with that if you are. We are allowed to express our opinions in this country. By signing you are merely adding your name to a campaign.

isn't that the illusion that they want us to believe though? what if they've got a big database about whos for and against them and they turn on us years down the line?? what if they decide they've had enough of all the students protesting, the public sector workers striking and people generally beginning to speak out against the system and as a consequence decide that they want to turn this country into a police state like the stasi lad

Waste of time building anything until the scouse idiots vote in a conservative council. It'll just get screwed up, like Liverpool One. Waste of money that was.

Snowcone I would also be curious to know why you think Liverpool one was a waste of money? I also find it odd that an Everton supporter would dismiss the city of Liverpool as "scouse idiots"

There was already a HMV. Theres an Everton shop near the ground, where you go the match. There was already a Sports Direct, so, 1 Billion pounds to have what you already had? Yep, excellent use of funds that.

It expanded the shopping areas of town. It re built paradise street, Hannover street, south john street and chavasse park. There are many more shops than before also several hotels and many resturants. Snowcone I take it you don't know Liverpool very well.

Lived there all my life until recently, jobs I had meant I probably met more than most people. Just take a look on TV, whenever a scouser is interviewed I cringe. My family and wifes family are scousers, they are all idiots too. Look at TKD, he's a f'kin moron. You yourself hardly have a history of intellectual enlightening posts. "I like girls and money".  Sit in the Lower Bullens and listen to the potheads, the Lower Gwladys, hear for yourself the genius that is the Everton fan.

Yep, it moved shoppers from one place to the other, John Lewis? We had that already as well. Theres about twenty Mobile phone shops, some awful restaurant franchises, some shops that have no interior lighting and a huge overpriced carpark. Its so good that almost all the people I know do their shopping at the Trafford Centre. Hotels? Hilton you mean? I think thats it is it not? Oh, there was a Habitat, which lasted about ten minutes.

There's the Hilton, the Novotel, and a premier in. I disagree that it moved shoppers from one place to another, the old areas are still full of shops. Habitat went bust nationally. If you prefer the Trafford centre you are very different to me. I like cities not chav roccoco out of town tacky consumer halls. I like theatres and Cathedrals and the sky.

also liverpool one is better as it is eg having it all in one place. because you can intergrate the history into the city as well. for example you have the modern part of the city which is liverpool one area but we've still kept the old; the liverbuilding, st georges hall, the city tower, the empire building, matthews street, and all the alehouses...
to say its a better city than w,ankchester is stupid
