Seen the light??? Good grief, you sound like a right Walter......

And cut it out with the 'lad' it's cringeworthy......

You also make it sound like anyone who even has a flutter on the National (their one bet of the year) would have a gambling problem.....

Well, it may start out as an annual flutter on the National but before you know they are hooked on getting hours of fun and entertainment out of a 10 p accumulator with the possibility of getting a tidy little sum for the cost of a copy of the Telegraph ! ;-)

I spend approximately £20-£25 over the weekend on a number of bets (horses/football), but can justify it because I don't go out during the week or at the weekends very often so instead of spending nearer to £50-£100 in the pub with mates, I'll have my bets where I've got a chance, no matter how small or big, of getting my money back.

And if anyone can do what I did last year, spend £1.40 on a bet and win over £300 on it then kudos to 'em!

it might be ok for you to blow 20 quida week like but im a student mate... if i had done it thatd be it- no villa or fa cup tie 4th round for me!

and just cos you have extra money to spare doesnt mean you should put it all on the horses or footie

    #-o

put it in the bank, save it up, invest it in something worthwhile!!!

and you may have won over 300 quid but have you made an overall profit if your spending 20 odd quid a  week every week anyway? my guess is probably not!!
the bookies want to make you think your winning easily so after the adrenaline rush of invincibility, you blow the rest of your winnings without realising it and have given all your money back you won over and extra outta the old bank balance. gradgually or quickly thisll happen over time
I might be a right walter lad but look who can afford to villa because of my maturity and wits to not go ahead with the idea - me
    lad

I've only been out of Uni just over a year, still no job yet, but I can still afford to enjoy myself, AND save money.

Unfortunately, it is not as easy for me to get tickets for games, or for any of the wheelchair supporters with being on the EDSA (Everton Disabled Supporters Association) rota. We can't pick and choose games as easily, we just wait for a phone call to say the name's next on the rota, do we want a ticket, hence why I've only been to three games this season (and we've lost all three!) but to be honest, I'd rather be spending my money on the things I am doing so at the moment, while saving up for holidays. Of course, if it were easier for me to be able to get a ticket for games, I'd easily be able to spare the price of a ticket.....

By the way, it's spelled 'gradually', I hope that's not an English course you're on, you'll fail it too quickly if you're spelling errors are that basic.

I'm sorry to hear that you havent got a job yet and have  to wait your turn to see a match. I think thats appalling from everton's behalf. Why can't they accommodate more on the gwladys street at least on the front row???  there seems to be plenty of room. damm kenwright :@
I'm not telling you how you should and shouldnt spend your money im just giving my tips Ive learnt. if you enjoy it then good on you but the money could go to other things like a holiday or whatever- was just my suggestions.

but theres no need to keep on picking out my faults eg the way I write and my spelling etc im not focused or ar$ed this is all typed up at a hundred mph so im gonna make mitsakse lad...
