I'm not spending it on watching that crap though and would sooner throw it at a tramp. Kenwright must be laughing his head off at some of you lot. Wasting your little bit of disposable income or in some cases taxpayers money on sitting in that shithole watching thatshowerofshite.

Games changed, its pointless to be honest. When 6th place is your goal and you are happy with that, theres something wrong. Might as well be 17th as far as I'm concerned.

Football is a thick twats paradise. No bones about it.
But anyone who thinks that Blue Bill has anything to laugh about is as dim as Tony's unshaded 40 watt bulb.
As investments go its a dog with some nasty flees in a costly and severely limiting kennel. Time is running out, the circles of Evertons fortunes are very much ever decreasing. If left unaltered Everton's future is nothing more than a damning indictment of what football has become in this country.
You might be a fecking idiot to go week in and week out, or to let the clubs plight effect your own life in an overly invasive manner... but the real fuckwits are those who think that this club is gold in the eyes of anyone who isn't a fan. Those that believe there is a queue of likely investors being gagged by paperwork and beaten away by Kenwright and his supposed station masters.

its the game thats changed as a whole which is the thing that riles me, all caused by money, cycles in football used to last maybe 4 or 5 years then another team would have their time, and everyone (with in reason) was in with a shout. nowadays that cycle seems to be lasting for ever, and will continue to do so whilst man city, manure, chelski etc have all the wonga. it will change, or i feel it will, it will jsut take longer for that cylce to change than it did 25 years ago +.
In defense of the younger supporters, who harp on about history etc mate, a lot of them are probably jealous that you have experienced what you have with our great club, and probably wish more than anything that they could experience what you have.....no excuses for them to shout loyal fans down though of 'x' amount of years cos they are from a different footballing era than the one that the 'premier league' has evolved.

Posts: 6,680December 2011 It may not be an ideal investment, far from it, but it is clear that Bill has lied again and again and again and he's laughing because everytime he makes an announcement with regards to investments or takeovers, these idiots lap it up. Time is running out yes, because Bills lies are no longer working their magic as the doubters grow. I respect your understanding of economics and business TC but living close to the club (not now) and knowing people who are involved, you get to hear things that make you question how much is being done. I know for a fact that many transfer stories coming from Bill over the years simply are not true and its come straight from the most reliable of sources, not some bloke down the pub, some blokes from the club.

For me the Fortress Sports fund debarcle was a hugely positive thing for the club. I dread to think where it would be now had Paul Gregg got his way.
I also know Kenwright, having spent a decent amount of time in the west end, to be as hard, mean, and as cut throat as any businessman around. I've have no doubt he's lied, cheated and presented a false impression of Everton dealings on a number of occasions.
But as we've both said, football is full of thick twats these days. And if thats how they've to be dealt with, then so be it. In all seriousness do you think you'd survive in his position armed only with the truth... In front of the sort of baying mongs you find at any given premier league club these days?

Expectation meets Evertons cut backs and the reality of the premier league.
We aren't watching the Everton we know and have watched under Moyes. That Everton have been 5 million over budget for the last few years.
Now you are watching David Moyes's Everton less that 5 million. Less another 5 million to appease the bank. And less 10 million or Arteta, depending on how you look at it.
20 million is too much for Moyes to be without. Moyes can do an awful lot with 20 million. He can do a lot with half of that figure. And he'll more than likely spend about 10 million in either Jan or at the end of the season.
But effectively you are watching a David Moyes team play with 20 million taken out of it. Or, to put it another way, without Moyes having been able to spend the Rooney money.
Thank god Kenwright is a lying ****! Or we'd have been watching this crap for several years before now.
But the upshot for me is that the team, while it can perform in this league and stay up, is incapable to performing to the level we want and expect to see currently.
Moyes squads have always been short of numbers and spreading the quality as thickly across the squad as he could afford. But in fairness, you just can't take 20 million out of that situation and expect it to work to a similar standard.
