Posts: 2,516December 2011 I don't normally back us to get beat on the BRPL, but I have done for this game.... The only thing is I think we'll get beaten by a bigger margin than the 2-1 score I went for..... But why do I get the feeling that Arteta's going to pull out with a mystery injury???

no mate not yet, had other things on last week, then last few days ive had cold so havnt been assed to do much tbh. Which is probably a good job really cos last week was a stinker.....i'll get round to it though :)

Last season I would have thought we would have had a chance to get something from a game like this, but this season our record against some of the bigger teams has been poor. I hope this will chance however soon. -

The thing is in my 20 years I've never known Everton having a truly great squad but they were a great team and the team worked well together and this season we're a poor team with 2 or 3 very good player but too many average to poor players. -

We have a decent team apart from our forward line, which is one of the worst in this league without question. -

to be honest TC, i'd rather we were playing someone like arsenal next....they won't sit back and defend against up, so our shocking lack of creativity won't be too much of a handicap...if we can defend well...and Fella & Rodwell get stuck into their midfield, than no reason why we can't get a result.....

Posts: 2,329December 2011 I remember watching that Arsenal 7.0 Everton game, we'd just Qualified for Europe, and lacked motivation on the night. I left the Pub with about 20mins left @5.0 and was actually relieved when i got home to see it was only 7.0 in the end. Still our biggest defeat in the 35yrs I've Supported Everton!
