December 2011 As mentioned yesterday we keep blaming the strikers but they do not get the chance to score because we create very little in the last 3rd. We need 442, we need someone creating the play and when playing against such a dominant ariel defence we need to play it along the ground.

I thought defence was solid (Heitinga had another good performance) and Felliani controlled the middle of the park. When it came to creativity we had nothing and Vellios got the start everyone was asking for and did nothing (not his fault but the lack of service).

We need a creative mid and a support striker who can link the play as well like a Beardsley, Sheringham,Rooney etc (Cahill played ok yesterday but is depriving the team of an important link/playmaker). Otherwise we will contine playing nice passes at the back and then boot it 40 yards and wonder why we get nowhere.

Lets see Saha and Vellios on together. Why when we are losing do we take Bily off for Rodwell? Should have bought denis on and have 2 up top.
