How is that fat **** still a ref? His decisions in the first half have caused me to pull out a lump of hair from my head. Has always been a shocking ref. Anyway, don't deserve to be behind. Should have had a few penalties if the proper rules of the game were applied!

I've hated him since the Wolves game at home last season where he would not give us anything and let them get away with murder. He's just so badly inconsistant.

Can't blame the ref for that today... we are NOT good enough...simple. Gueye or Denis should have started up front with Vellios. As much as I love Timmy he is a Midfielder not a forward. Too negative ... too predictable

    Gutted :(

Well we bloody well might do if they don't put our players in headlocks in the penalty area. I remember the commentary saying "I don't know why Vellios didn't try and head that", "oh thats because Shawcross has got him in a headlock"

Absolute joke of a referee. Inconsistant and wasn't even watching for anything, only looking to give fouls against Fellaini for nothing.

Totally agree. How are you meant to score with a header if defenders are choking you at the time?!!?! Stoke cheated today and the ref let them. But do agree that we lacked urgency and creativity in the final third. Wonder if the rules of the game were appllied in the match, what the out come would have been?

Funnier thing was he gave the foul against Vellios becuase he ended hitting it with his foot because of it with the ref not even thinking why that happened.

The performance definatly wasn't the best today, but the ref certainly didn't give the performance expected of a premier league referee either and when our chances are limited against a defence that constantly grappled our players out of scoring chances and got away with it theres only so much you can do.

Literally, there was ten penalty claims in that match. Never seen that before.

I get what Keysey is saying, we shouldn't lay ALL the blame on the ref...... But certainly 99.999999999999999% of it should go on him, absolutely shocking reffing today. I know the likes of Dowd and Webb have bad games and give poor decisions, but I've never seen Mason have a good game! Absolutely dire!

Mason is the worst ref I've seen since Kevin Friend. Fecking awful not good enough to be a professional ref let alone a Premier League ref.

    Only TEN?
    No wonder we lost!
No criticism of team performance like?

Come on Richard, im not making excuses for a below par perfromance, but, the referee doesnt help when he is blowing the whistle every 35 seconds and then letting the Stoke players get away with GBH, it takes the pi$$ a little bit like.
