    selling yak and becks was a blunder. all managers do it from time to time. manu were top of the league when fergie kicked out jaap stam over his autobiography. stam was probably the best defender in europe at the time.

    the defence wobbled and manu finished second that season. a huge mistake.

    moysey certainly blundered when he let the yak go, and even becks made a substantial contribution in goals even tho he wasnt top class.

    He joined us at the end of August!
    If my memory serves me correctly, he had scored only 1 goal for Middlesbrough since about the previous Christmas!

    Fait and lazy or not, Yak knows how to finish when given the chance.  More than can be said for any of the strikers we've had since.
