    Sadly gone are the days of good discussion. Escla,Deso and Prophet used to come up with some crackers.Fizz used to have a great section about former Everton greats, Sheedy and Tickets used to have great banter.
    The place has changed a lot, those with the highest post count feel that they have an authority of who can say what, name calling is rife and the range of discussions has dwindled.
    I really hope the Blueroom rises and before people start having a pop just remember its a forums members that make it what it is. The lack of users can be put down to the range of discussions and the reception they get from members,just something to remember.
    To the self titled regular users remember that there were those here long before any of us and those people were able to have a bit of banter without getting up their own arses thinking they ruled the joint. If you are a regular poster and want the BlueRoom to grow I would suggest a broader subject range and a warm welcome to new posters.
    I no longer have the same amount of time to post like I did but when I get the chance I enjoy coming on here to see what banter is taking place.

    I dont know what to say, other than it must have been amazing before us newbies to the forum came along. My sincere apologies, like Sambo im so sorry if we have brought the level of enjoyment here down. Suppose it mirrors a bit the football team, used to be great but are struggling now in some peoples minds, and like people who chose not to buy tickets anymore, some of these renowned posters have decided to move on until the quality returns. We're a fickle old lot i guess at times......

    I have been a member of the blueroom since it began. There are less posters. If the club sorted it out and stopped dickin about with changes that aren't needed and managed the moderation then it might still have people on here. The amount of times its been closed down for stuff.

    All this shoite about the great old times. I know loads a people who left years ago because of the abuse they were getting. Its no different now, its just theres more forums for people to go on and enjoy themselves without shoite layout/problems and ott moderation.

    New people do post; and are welcomed. Just some d1ckheads only look for what they want to see.

    My post was not meant as an attack on the Blueroom but more of a suggestion of how it can be improoved. Characters will come and go, that is the nature of a forum. Those that were in the background suddenly find their voice and more often than not they equate post count to authority and length of membership to knowledge.
    There are a lot of forums which offer people choice and my suggestion was merely to broaden the range of topics. Create lively debate and attract new members. OGV I'm sure you welcome new posters but others on here are not as welcoming and this will put people off. I for one enjoy the Blueroom and would like to see it grow so please guys dont take observations and suggetions as an attack on the place.

    Hey Galway, I thought yer might pick up on this and almost printed an explanation.  My objection was to Tickets use of your perfectly valid post to serve his own argument. He has a running disagreement with me and few lads and pulled your post up to say that we are the people you are talking about.

    Afraid the place has suffered a deficit of debate of any consequence.
    As Escla said some people here have a persecution complex and it is almost impossible to engage in any meaningful discussion.
    You either stay here and try to change it,difficult I know,or go elsewhere.

    All right lads. You have to stay and fight the good fight, the Blueroom and its history deserves it. Now lads off to watch the Jnr Apprentice sad to say but the English kids are more professional than their grown up Irish counter parts(Irish version of The Apprentice is on at the same time).
    After the Apprentice its time to watch Fizz and his mates on Scousewives on E4.
    Jesus lads I hope debate returns soon because I'm turning into a tv addict.

    I use GOT mostly because the site works and you get a good range of topics. However, this place still produces some good debate, see the Cameron thread. Most newbies get welcomed on here, although some start by just having a go at other posters and then reap what they sow. But we are all to blame I suppose for if we don't post then it dies........GBN is probably right though.....
