Forum Complaint - Club Response

    I've complained to the club about the forum. Here is their response. Could people give me examples of problems they've encountered. Thanks


    "Many thanks for your email and your feedback regarding the Forum. We work closely with our team of moderators and our web developers to try and constantly evolve the Forum offering. This is actually the first complaint we have received relating to problems on the Forum and we’re keen to gain a fuller understanding of the specific problems you have encountered so we can look to replicate the issues with a view to resolving them.

     

    With that in mind, I would greatly appreciate additional details relating to specific elements of the Forum that have caused you problems. Could you also specify the browser you are using and the browsers on which you have encountered difficulties and I will address these points with our web development agency."

    did you message them back and say tickets11 wouldnt be a problem though if only he were a bit more positive??

    Just a thought, you dont think this is a parting shot from Ian Ross, and somehow he's put the glich into the Forum????........

    This forum needs more moderators, or at least the moderators need to be on here more in my opinion! Milky is normally on regularly to be fair to him, but he seems to be the only one he comes on regular as far as I can see.

    Not heard of him before.

    To say that they work closely with the mods and web team and this is the first complaint that they have received is well.......classic Everton and milky response to this forum and disingenuous in the extreme.

    I do agree that it is unflattering to milky and he can hardly be pleased with it.

    I have gone back to him on:

    1. Not being  able to embed youtube vids using chrome
    2. IE problem with smileys
    3. Quotation problem
    4. Not knowing who posted the thread (not on Chrome anyway)
    5. General layout being poor - botch job with the poll
    6. Search facility tucked away at the top of the page
    7. Not being able to connect with "mates"
    8. General consensus appearing to be that the old forum was fine so why "fix" it.
    9. Problem when two people post simultaneously - I often have to copy my text; refresh the screen; paste and then post.

    There was more but that gives yer an idea of me beef!

    Most of those I have read already over last few months.

    I have not the will to complain as I feel it's akin to a terminally ill patient complaining about migraine.

    This patient(forum) is not getting better anytime soon.

    That's fair enough, but even then this forum only has the two moderators who come on here regularly. Correct me if I am wrong but I think that other fan forums on the internet have about 4 or 5 moderators.
