Can't believe the indignation of Unison over this.

Taking legal advice because someone expressed an opinion? And does anyone truly believe he was serious? If he had made a specific threat then fine, complain if you must, but in all seriousness when did the Unions get so precious?

Of course, all Unison members have never EVER made a similar comment in their lives. Total hypocrisy.

The kind of idiot Clarkson is, it wouldn't surprise me one little bit.... I detest him, he's a nasty piece of work.

    I'll be honest - I p'd myself laughing when I heard that.

Come on folks. Once upon a time this country had a sense of humour. I really do think the unions are making fools of themselves by saying they're looking to take legal advice and calling for his dismissal.

Its all getting a bit big brother.

Clarkson is to be taken with tongue in cheek. I'd happily see my old school teachers from primary get executed

I do agree that the unions looking to legal recourse for insighting hatred against te public sector is too extreme and a bit of a nonsense.... but the point they are making isn't about Clarkson. Its more that they've probably got a case against several member of our own government....and that lots of members of the public are sadly lapping it up.

As stated elsewhere, the banks we bailed out were bailed out with their pensions. And now the banks need to keep that money incase the euro zone folds. So the nurses and school teachers will just have to go without. sounds....erm....quite unreasonable to me.

    Any sympathy for Robert Maxwell?

People don't seem to understand that Clarkson has an on screen character and doesn't actually mean any of it.
