WE'VE signed quite a few young lads?

ALL the loan deals will have meant paying out to agents, players signing new contracts will have involved agents fees etc.

Here Luke, why dont the FA police agents fees better than it does?

I'm not sure how it works but, why dont the FA make some rules (or guidelines) advising clubs etc on agents fees, like say for example a transfer is made for 3million, the fa say that a flat fee for the agents is £50k max (using that as an example) then all this money wont be lost on agnets and taking money out of the game??

because it's "free enterprise" the agent acts on behalf of the client...would society then expect solicitors, private doctors etc cap their fees likewise ? i doubt it....

And if what you suggest happens then i would assume that their fees would just get paid another way and at least this way it's "upfront" and in the open ...so to speak !!

The agent "acts on behalf of the client".
    The client is the player!
So the agent gets paid by the club!!

If I go see a solicitor or doctor, I pay the **** myself!

THE AGENTS GET PAID BY THE CLUB... ON BEHALF OF THE PLAYER....

ie players move and include agents fees in the transfer fee otherwise the player would have to pay it themselves...this is negotiated by the agent........

when they do something directly for the player....they get paid directly by the player...

How is negotiating a contract extension or a free transfer - neither of which involve a transfer fee, not doing something directly for the player?

Fellainis dad will have got a penny or two because lets face it, many fans were fearing the worst there!

And the guy who sold Beckford for 4 million was more than likely given 2.5million and a big slap on the back!

The new contracts for Neville and Fellaini will cost a bit, as well as the players that have been signed.

All these players are held against the board with comments like 'we got Beckford on a free'.. Straq, Dennis are just loans, Bill will say Felli's like a new signing etc.. All of these differing types of signings that don't register with fans when people claim we have not spent a penny and have 'bought' no one, actually cost signicant sums of money even if those sums don't show up as transfer costs.

HOW CAN EVERTON SIGN NO ONE?

I give up. How can anyone sign no-one.

I know we can sign someone but can anyone sign no-one?

At least no-one would be cheap, we could definitely afford him.

Felli re-signed so his agent would of got a lot of money. and as well as Felli a fair few others have signed new deal with Cahill and Rodders just being a few.
