    Absolutely fair.
    What wasn't fair was him getting the job in the first place. I rate him as almost the worst manager in the PL. Buys an entire team every summer and still always ****!

    patched up squad from the summer that is going to take time to gel, and bought some utter guff imo, i think the black rats would love a manager like DM to give them a bit of stability.

    in a way it was fair....in a way it was unfair....

    its a strange league now, in the sense that from 10th to 20th place, every team is equally crap......with a couple of wins Bruce could have had sunderland back up the the top 10.....certainly had he been able to hold on to Bent or Gyan they would have been ok.....he also lost Jordan Henderson.....he probably wishes he didn't bother now investing in the clubs future with the Conor wickham signing....

    on the other hand....Bruce is a Fergie brown-noser....and will sign any reserve player Fergie offers to him....he whines an awful lot......and seems to be forever re-building his teams.....and is over-rated to begin because he was a former Maun United captain (but hey, Brian Robson, Paul Ince & Roy Keane were great managers too weren't they)

    end of the day, Sunderland will never be a top 6 club, basically they're in the league to make up the numbers...Roy keane could never attract the players he wanted to the club, Bruce probably had the same problems....So unless yo've gotten them relegated i think its a bit harsh to get the boot.....

    Personally if i was a fan i'd have wanted him sacked because he annoys me.......Personally, i'd f*ckin hate to be a sunderland fan.....

    UNFAIR - they sold his top players..returned his loan signings....allowed him to spend on youth.. and then dont give him time for the youth to come to good...whilst expecting to be in the top 6 ?? Typical board directors !!

    oh !! and by the way he's a damn nice bloke too !!

    i'm very fortunate that my job ensures i work with people that are classed as "famous" or whatever...i'm not going to apologise for that !
