Does playing in my backyard with my brothers count as having played footy?
I played goalie while my brothers practiced kicking balls at me...

Played district level at 15 then went drinking...

Play 7-a-side on Sunday nights with mates but reckon I might look to get in to an 11-a-side team on Saturdays

Interesting, I'd have thought scouts stopped taking interest about aged 15..... Gives my nephew hope anyway, class little player but doesn't seem to get the opportunities to impress the scouts.

I play Sunday night 6-a-side. We're not doing bad we're second in the league and we're playing top of the league on Sunday but it's a 6 o'clock kick off so I can't make because I'm going the Everton game. Everton come before any other team including England and ma 6 a side team :D

Too much goin out over the years... I did join a team when I was 17 but never made it to games as I was always hung over,

Thinkin of the 11-a-side so I can try and get into coaching

I was a good left (sometimes right) winger even if I do say so myself - The pace of a fookin snail, but I could whip over a good cross I tell ya!

Alass superstardom was whipped from my grasp by a wonky back!!

I don't mind playing midfield but I have no fitness so I either play defensive mid or attacking mid. less running :D

I was p'd off as a kid when a lad I played ahead of for district got trials for Everton and I didnt. Having seen how much time as a kid is taken up with academy football with absolutely no guarantee of having a future in the games, I'm kinda glad I didnt... but it woulda been nice like...

    yawn!

    Centre Half

Welsh U18 International, only played 1 game against Scotland U19 won 3-0
Played for Burnley in a Match against Bolton and Sheff Wed, won both 2-1

I am only 5'10/11 so not tall enough for pro league football at that time...

Played Welsh League for years before an injury when i was 24, then went to lower leagues and enjoyed my beer....

Everton have 2 centre backs that are 5 foot 11, Phil Jagielka and Sheitinga. Oh yeah we also have 2 makeshift centre backs, Phil Neville 5 foot 10 and Tony Hibbert who's about 5 foot 7.
