The people I know with racehorses have told me some tales. If the price aint right they aint gonna win. (Not saying all owners/trainers are like that but these are). -

The people I know with racehorses have told me some tales. If the price aint right they aint gonna win. (Not saying all owners/trainers are like that but these are).-----------------
I'm not saying all are, but there's a lot that are.....its a shame, but the only way to make money out of your own horses is to get the price right, its a very expensive hobby otherwise.....

Though about buying a racehorse myself but the lack of hands on involvement puts me off. We own three showjumping horse at the moment and I work with them every day. Wouldn't enjoy just turning up at a racecourse to see it get beat.
