    – 1/6/2009 – Knee Problem –
    3 month



    History of knee problems before that.  Given a new four year contract in January 2011.



    Played less than half of the games per season since
    starting; and half of those as sub.






    Anyone guess who it is?

    Estimating a £25k per week salary, he has cost over £1m whilst injured in 2 1/2 years. 

    If we say he plays 15 games a year but then starts only half of those then assume 7 sub appearances at 20 minutes a go - 140 minutes on the pitch; and 8 starts at max 90 minutes - 720 minutes, so 860 minutes a season. 

    He gets paid £1.3m for that.

    And he averages 1.5 goals per season.

    No accounting for that, weak or not.. I don't think he's strong, quick or injury prone.. I just think he's s**t.
