I didnt get a chance to watch this one.  What do you lot think of our performance? Deserved? Did we look good?
Particularly interested to get your views on Billy`s and Saha`s performance

I don't think it was a good win, just an okay one. I'd have expected a win 11v11 so definitely 11v10. We squandered a lot of chances, and for the possession we should have had more goals.

However, at least we fecking won.

Billy almost got a full match, and an assist to Fellainis goal. Not too shabby defensively either. One of his better games this year, though I`m pretty sure Drenthe will play next game if fit.

I think Saha did well, besides a few poor shots and drifting out on the wing and back at the center circle. Hard to say when it comes to the strikers. We don`t know if they`ve been instructed to drift out of position that much. Surprised if Moyes would choose to keep Saha as 1th choice if he haven`t been instructed to do so. Been the story of the season.

Disciplined performance against a physical team.

For me Fellaini was again immense. If people dont realise how good he is then maybe thats actually because of how good he is - what he does looks effortless.

Thought Bily looked willing but very weak - easily knocked off the ball but then Bolton are tough. I think he had a decent game.

Saha struggle but always will in dogged games against physical teams. Thought Tim in an advanced 4-4-2 (yes that was the formation again) worked his behind off and was very effective - shame he didnt get the second but christ how good must that be for Vellios. Yeah, you could call it an "easy goal" but he was in the right place and he netted - job done, end of.

I though Johnny Sheits looked decent. Bare in mind he and Jags had to deal with Davies who might not be prolific but he is nails, so well done!

Osman was much better and actually had an input in the game.

Nice that Ross got a cameo. More please Mr Moyes.

All in all we got the ball out wide and hit the ball in to danger areas which led to two goals. Good stuff. Coleman as ungainly as he looks had a cracker.

So we didnt smash 5 past em but a 2-0 away win at Bolton. I'll have that. Thanks!

Good analysis but unless someone walks the ball into the net, there is no such thing as an easy goal IMO...
