I doubt Lineker has the slightest say in running order, he's a rented smile. It does get on my **** that we're always low billed, but then we're rarely in crisis, or pushing for 4th. Not much to spout hyperbole about.

Lineker explained when he was interviewed on Everton T.V. that he has absolutely no say whatsoever in the running order, that is entirely the decision of the producer who presumably bases his choices on the criteria mentioned by Mavis plus such factors as global appeal. Why on earth would anyone conclude that either Lineker or the BBC "hate us" ? This in my view is just a manifestation of that famous Scouse persecution complex and that well documented associated need to wallow in self sympathy.

It used to **** me off and at times still does but I think last night it was positioned correctly.

Everton have gone off the boil this season and will have to pick up a shed load of points over the coming games to be in contention with the clubs above us currently. And Bolton aren't in form or the news either.

Although you could say its usually th same old teams, presidence is given to those teams who finished in the top four CL positions last season... and then the clubs fighting for the lesser euopean spots currently.

After that, its just a case of counting the goals in the match showing them in order of the number scored, with the added influence of a club and/or its manager is in a controversial position and might be sacked at any moment.

Later on in the season the relegate fight is giving greater importance over all bar the top four teams.

If you apply that critiea week in and week out then it wouldn't be fair wrong.

So I take it that you too suffer from this persecution complex and share the view that the BBC "hate us" how sad and pathetic an attitude is that.

No, I've actually seen how the matches are selected in the order that they are. Please don't insult my intelligence.

i am beginning to think MOTD dont like Everton. Not just coz of we almost are always near the end but in yesterdays programme. The only mention we got was by Lineker `Thats 2 wins on the bounce for Everton`. thats it. then it goes on to the sending off. no comments on the goals or anything done by Everton

Sounds like Fox Soccer analysts talk about Everton games more than the BBC.  Probably because of Tim Howard, but for whatever reason we always seem to get a mention.

    Exactly so.

And will do so more if Landon comes on loan again.
