To all newbies ( and TKD ), a few suggestions.....

    1) there is no need to attack everyone on here.....

    2) you don't have to prove how clever you are, we have more than enough clever people on here anyway and most of them have more degrees than you will ever achieve.....

    3) just be yourself, watch and learn and just join in.....

    4) Tony is a good guy, he just like to take the pi.ss out of newbies and @rseholes......

    5) whoever you think is in charge on here isn't. we are just an ordinary group of guys who enjoy a laugh.

    6) welcome, unless you insist on being a jumped up pillock with an over large ego....

    Ice someone has really rattled your cage. Chill man chill. Tkd is creating conversation on here and if you ask me that should be encouraged. There are enough people out there to knock holes without the establishment getting involved.

    Totally agree GBN, it was just some friendly advice to any newbies. TKD can hold his own on here no probs, and as he is a bit of fun it would be good if he stayed, he just needs to ease back a bit. Just friendly advice.....

    2-its a natural defence when someone calls me thick i dont boast about it. im not the smartest guy in the world but if i apply myself for a task eg coursework or exam i usually do alright so thts why im studying a degree. i dont look down at those who arent academic
    3cant really truly be yourself on the internet can you? internet communication is new, banter develops on the net. some people get it some dont. but most of the time im not insulting

    Iceblue is a long time contributer on here of which I have the highest respect for. He is an old head and a wise one at that. Take on board what he says because you cannot fight everyone. Always being on the defensive to every comment that does not blow your trumpet wont help, but as I say I enjoy your humour. Banter can be a lot better when both parties join in.
