Posts: 19,512November 2011 I think that left and right wing should track back when defending, but I dont think Moyes should be singling out Drenthe like this for the world to read....I agree he also puts too much on work rate being the be all and end all.

We put 100 crosses into the box against Wolves and they were all absolute 5hite except the one's that came from Baines and a couple from Drenthe. Baines getting into wide positions to whip in crosses is hugely important to us and has been for 3 years. If his winger isn't protecting him, he can't do that! What's the problem FFS?

Him who hadn't scored for 6 months for Middlesbrough before we bought him - comes to Everton and bangs them in at first, scores more goals tan he ever has in a season, and then gets fed up just like at Middlesbrough and Portsmouth before! His trend isn't any different!
