     Selling is an art

This is a self made millionaire you are talking about... a number of them, who have bought and sold more than their fair share of businesses.

I realise fans are desperate to have new and wealthy owners... but that is all they are.

Also, I realise people buying a business are generally buying people. But its unrealistic to compare office space based businesses to a football club. The catchment area has little to do with the clubs board, and the stadium issue effects Evertons business far more than any serviced office space impacts any normal business. Yet both those things have driven the football club deals we've seen thus far...far more than any salesmanship perceived or otherwise.

Agree to disagree. Bill Kenwright has done well for himself in a field that he know, Theatre Productions. Made is millions but this does not mean he can broker million dollar football deals. I am not critical of his success nor that he owns Everton. He has put his money in and bought the right to chair the club. What goes on behind the scenes none of know.

What I do think is that he is not the right person to sell the club and the fact that he has not highlights that. It is either overpriced or presented wrong which is both his responsiblities. Everything in life has value and depending on how good the salesman is the higher that price is.

everything has a price and its what somebody is willing to pay imo. you could be the best salesman in the world, but if somebody is only willing to pay 120k for something, a brilliant salesman wont get them to pay 140k imo like cos everybody and everything has a price regardless of who is the salesman

Utter ****, but I will agree to disagree with you.

The facts are that no other club in a similar position has been sold before Everton. And that is because if you want to buy a prem club then there are better prospects out there to buy before you'd consider Everton. Its pretty clear unless you are blinded by your love of the club, which is understandable.

Also, there are other shareholders in Everton who have a wide range of experince in business too. If they are happy with Kenwrighty selling the club then I'll take their experience over yours any day of the week.

But looking at the clubs that have been sold the idea that kenwright is the worng person to sell the club because it hasn't been sold yet is just untrue.

Don't get me wrong I am hopful Everton will be sold but if a global inverstor were to look at the prem currently then on stadium and catchment area I'd be trying to buy out Mike Ashley. And I F'ing hate Newcastle.

Howdy, Stranger!
