it wont be a lot, but, something is better than nothing and if we can maybe trade 1 or 2 and get a couple of loans in (donovan etc) we can freshen the squad up nicely imo :)

What strikers are available at the moment.

Defoe potentially on loan as i can't see him moving permanent
    Pavlyuchenko
Zamora may be available (could be a cheap option)
    lukaku again on loan.

shouldve got Long in. decent talent. i dont know who else to suggest as a striker actually. DM ruins all strikers careers anyway.  Would love to see Hoilett on the left though

We have to remember, its all very well saying get this in and that out in January, its a risk thing. Whoever we get in or out has to work for the club hitting the ground running, we cant afford a settling in period. Donovan aside, and he would be a risk coz its 2yrs ago he was with us before, not many players hit the ground running moving to a new club.

i think this is a very viable option tbh with you milk, donovan on loan and buy some cover for defense and i would be happytil summer tbh.

i think what did it for me was every club he signed for, in the interview after signing, he said he was over the moon and a dream come true, he said it when he went to lvierpool from spurs then said it when he went back, and said the same thing when he went to america, i found it kind of weird tbh mate....maybe im being picky??

Think we'll look overseas to get a striker in - I don't think he'll buy/ borrow a Premier league player although I would like to see Defoe - heHe's the only one with a half decent record in the Premiership apart from Keane who isn't up to it anymore IMO.
