SOME FANS

Some of the fans on here should be on the panel of 'Dragons Den'.. They all seem to be Accountants, Egg heads, and very clever successful Businessmen in their own right.
They know, HOW to sell the Club and get multi BILLIONAIRE investers to take over, HOW to get funds to buy and pay the wages of top players in the world, HOW to develope Goodison Park, (increase capacity, buy the school knock it down use as carpark, or build a new one?).
And all this time we've had Plumbers, Electricians, Brickies, Joiners, Labourers, Trade union conveners, Shop keepers and Window cleaners running the Club?
    Funny that,

11 years and we still have "3 or 4 parties interested" in us

    work it out son.

the only reason people back kenright is because he is a blue, it that really enough to forgive him for his past mistakes, if another man was in charge of this club (not a fan) and he ran the club the same way kenright has we would all be calling for his head.

some people need to wake up and smell the coffee.  there is no long term plan what so ever here.

Well can you explain exactlly what he and the board have done wrong apart from not having billions of pounds to invest in the Club?
I'm as pissedoff as all Evertonians are we can't compete with the Mancs, Chelski, etc,but we're doing better than a lot of Clubs, Leeds, Pompey, West Ham all had investers promising great things but who have sunk down the leagues, and a few years ago we could of done just that, if Kenwright and the board hadn't done something at the time.
Football as lost it's soul. To me it seems all about money, the haves and the haves not.
Surely BK would sell tomorrow if he could, just to get the monkeys off his back?

youth??? the guy who found vellios and coleman has gone to chelsea.  Rodwell and barkley came through the ranks.

youth is the only thing we have left.

and on fellaini basically safe guards us from getting a low transfer fee for him, aguero and glen johnson did the same thing for their clubs respectively and then left.  not to mention a nice 70k a week.

    he went from

"One thing is certain, I want to play in a team that wins trophies and play in the Champions League," he said.

"Everton is a team of sub-top."

We Sign mcfadden and haneman and now suddenly its

"I signed a new contract because the club has ambition"  classic

good on him then. shows some level of loyalty to the club even if he goes next summer imo for a transfer fee more than we would have got for him with 1 year left on his contract.

Youth is the way forward for a lot of teams now mate, unless your one of the mega rich teams, so its not a bad way forward imo. and if ROdwell, Barkley AND Rooney have come through the youth ranks then we aint doing so bad are we in that perspective??

I know you dont like to see anything positive fella, but until the club is sold and we maybe get a rich benefactor, the bringing players through like rodwell and barkley is the way forward imo.

what amazes me is Moyes is beigged upo all over the place because of the great job he has done with such a small budget.

Yet Bill is condemned for exactly the same reason.

Bill has mademistakes and been let down by alot of people.

I feel if Moyes didn't make the same mistakes week in week out we wouldn't be having this conversation.

ye and as soon as we need cash rodwell and barkley will be the first ones to be sold, and theres no guarantee we will keep on producing young talent.

and this only works if moyes is here, he is the one who drives up the price to make sure we get a decent price.  the next manager may not do this.

fair comments fella, but, if we sold Barkley and Rodwell for a combined 40 million lets say, that is 5 good quality players for us imo and help us take the club forward for the next 5 years. Gives us time to find the next Barkley, Rodwell, Rooney etc....and there's nothing to say we cant do it mate! COYB!

every club sells players that don't wish too.

    Utd sold Ronaldo
    Arsenal sold Fabregas
    Liverpool sold alonso.

Its just the way it is.

We have poor revenue and need to increase our income selling players is the easiest way to make money.

We could easily clear our debt and rebuild yet Bill is trying to keep the club at a decent level and if that means the odd player being sold then so be it.

Whats the option, the Blue Union bring in an interim board(always thought that meant administration), people ive asked who they are and no one has given an answer, other than they must be incredibly amazing, that they think they can sell the club quicker than the present board. Maybe that means sell to anyone, who have billions regardless who they are, talk about selling the soul of the club, but if thats what they think is the way forward well there you have it.......
