posts and feel we did much better than portrayed in the posts.

Wolves created nothing. There only chances were a questionable penalty with a player running out the box and a 30 yard freekick. Defensively we were very good. Their best offencive player was the ref.

Middlefield bossed the game and although lacked a cutting quality produced enough to win the game comfortably.

Strikers were not on form but did also did not get enough service.

We were good in the first half but looked pressured in the second half resulting in ambitious long balls. Wolves parked the bus and even the best teams find that difficult to overcome.

We need to improve in the last 3rd and create more but I do not feel we have a good creative player. Osman shows glimpses but has not got going this season and hopefully Barkley can fill that role sooner rather than later.

This is a common problem in modern football and if you look at the national team there is no creative midfielder coming through.

Good 3 points and signs of a dominant performance that can be built upon. Lets stop focusing on the negatives and give a bit of credit.

i agree wolves did nothing, was pretty much like the qpr game, we dominated the game but the final ball wasnt there, we miss piennar and arteta so much in these games we havent really got anyone to open up teams.but at the moment results are KING not performances, we will see better performances once we sit in a comfortable position, the anxiety and tension will go out of our play and we will improve, pretty similar to the last few seasons results breed confidence and we will push towards top 7 or so, again tho we need to play 2 upfront vs the likes of wolves at home, timmy battled well and had a decent game but think he would be better used now as an impact sub. i want to see more of barkley and vellios, need disten back to give jags a rest before he makes his injury worse. Rodwell in midfield will help if he continues to improve, would like to see a midfield with barkley rodwell, felliani and drenthe in it.

Do you think Barkley should play on the right or in the middle. Always feel that we play too many players out of position. I dont think Rodwell would have been able to make a difference because he is defensive.

I think Rodwell and Felliani are probably 2 of our best player but like Gerrard and Lampard for England are too similar and ruin the balance. If you play them both then I think we need a 5 in the middle with an attacking mid or push Colman and Drenthe up to support the striker and play a 4-3-3 with Rodwell Felliani and Barkley in the middle

think rodwell can do more if hes allowed to push on, sometimes i think with timmy behind the striker it hinders rodwell pushing forward, barkley could play on the right, maybe he be good sitting in front of rodwell and felliani in a free role

Think we are on the same page just wish Moyes was. Tim has been a great servant and still has something to offer but with him playing we are losing creativity. Maybe with the current squad we need a different style.

Also as you mentioned getting Donovan back on the right wing with Drenthe on the left we would have serious pace and ability on both flanks.
