I only watched the first 30 mins but it seemed he was having a "how far can i kick it comp with himself.

    Is this Moyes tactics.

P.S Nice goal even if it was off the back of his head.

well the problem we have is we not really got a good playmaker in the centre to give it to, jags always looks for long diagnal balls out wide , we need a playmaker desperately, especailly vs teams like wolves who will park the bus, we wont win many games by more than the odd goal in the prem this season unless we get a better playmaker in the centre.we havent got someone who makes us tick.

But if we play with 5 midfielders why punt it forward to our lone striker.

I think Cahill was playing further forward but you are right. Jags had a good game for us yesterday defensively and in the past he has been prone to getting caught on the ball. Therefore if he can't find a pass and hoofs it then its better than being caught out.

We need a playmaker who comes looking for the ball like Arteta did.

it looked 4-4-2 most of the time Milky imo......but as for the role behind the striker, and this is not disrespect to Cahill, it wants to be somebody that can create and make an opening.....

It was 4-4-2. Early on they tried to get it out wide, which is what you want to do against wolves, but they fell into  disarray when Wolves scored; and when several crosses were put in and not met by anyone.

If Vellios has been on at the start I reckon he'd have at least challenged for the crosses.

Once discipline broke down the Jag did Fly

we were always going to struggle scoring goals this season.

the fact we have a 33 year old saha as our only real forward, and osman, cahill and fellaini behind him who arent going to create much.

we struggled to score against wolves and they were poor even by their standards.

in january he has to go out and spend to bring in a proven goal scorer

We have other options but the manager won't use them.

mILKY IS RIGHT, BUT I AGREE, I THINK, a creative midfielder and a striker are imperative in jan, even if its on loan.
