The stats were heavily in our favour but our attack is shocking at the moment. Even Yakubu has five league goal and OGV has informed me that our leading goal scorer is Jags/ Rodwell/ Drenthe on 2 each. I think Vellios will be a good striker for us once he gets a run of games under his belt.

    I understand your fustration though.

I don't think we are such a poor team. I mean yeah, we have had our struggles, but at times we have flashes of pure brilliance. Whenever our players step out onto the pitch you never know what is going to happen. We may have a terrific game or it may be a day you just want to smash your fist into a wall. But, you know what...that is what makes it so exciting to be an Everton fan. Before every game I get so excited. I really do feel like a little kid on Christmas morning. I love waking up early or in some cases staying away from the tv all day to catch it on tape delay. We are not a poor team...we just have some work to do. Our team has such great players and they have so much potential.

Don't give up hope on them..if we do, they will too...

We absoltuely hammered them, yes our strike force is a little limp.. Arteta is still leading goal scorer I believe.. but the rest of our team is quality.

i think it's more of the end product, Wolves did nothing for most of the game, yet we were very one dimensional in our attacking so many crosses into the box with only 2 attacking in there and with 4-5 wolves players and a GK, the crosses were also very poor, most of the time they were just jumped in and the keeper ate them up. It looks as if we're wanting it to badly and forcing the issue to much.

but the were good thing to take from the game, we fort hard and had some great link-up play.

The thing is, under Moyes I don't think we've an exceptional bunch of players but they've worked hard for each other and for the team in general. Moyes use to inspire the squad but this season Moyes' interviews have been more depressing then inspiring.

bluezoop. how many chances did we have ya numpty !

yeh we won and yeh the stats might been have good but attacking wise. . its poor. im struggling to get excited now when we go forward. it ends up coming back to Jags who just hoofs it upfield.
Even the most diehard Evertonian has to admit that home to Wolves and playing like that is poor. Thank god we won

If we can win about 8 of the next 10 games then we'll be right in the thick of it. And Moyes will have to change his attitude because his negative comments have got to be having an effect on the players.

thats a big ask Dan. Do you really think we can do that based on what you have seen so far this season?

get a 15-20 goal striker to partner saha and we be top 7. yeah saha doesnt score as much as he should. but he is immense at linking up play and turning defenders. give him some one to play 1 2s with and feed in the box and we will soon but climbing the table.

Said in another post yesterday. 9 out of our next 10 games are winnable. you have to remember some of the teams we've played so far.

It looked like we played quite well, we had a lot of possession and created chances, all we need is a striker who can score us 15-20 goals a season, we are creating the chances we just need someone who can finish them off, we are a good team

I think that we are a decent team that is playing poorly. I believe that the tactics from the manager are often wrong and I think he needs to change his style of play.
