Just got back from the game, quick summary..!

    Poor performance brought on by tension and knowing we really had to win, the fans and players alike were scared of us not winning.

    Tactics were wrong and substitutions were badly timed.

    Poor management.

    Wolves helped us by being absolutely awful. I think we have it bad at times, i feel for their supporters if they play like that often.


    HOWEVER.


    When you need a win, you need a win, it wasnt pretty and it was nerve racking, but some times however it comes, you just need the win and that's what we got.


    Sigh of relief, re group, better performance next week and 3 points, there was too much onus on the 3 points today, once we get a run of 2 or 3 games unbeaten move up the table a few places the performances will improve.

    seems to be a ongoing situation.......some games we'll play really well (ie attractive football), and others we are truly awful.
    3 points is 3 points though, i'd rather us sneak these games if it means we win

    i agree mate, i was surprised how badly we knocked the ball around today, usually our passing is quite slick. however, like you say mate, 3 points is 3 points and thats what we needed, so onwards and upwards for me from here!

    We play good football against the big so called teams, and thats coz they let you, its when we play the Wolves(have to say they played more football than us today, but never looked like scoring), Stokes, Boltons that we struggle, coz they either park the bus, stop the ball going wide, or have a bigger hunger for the ball.
