November 2011 This might be boring to you all, but it made my day. 1st i met, mmm i'll leave this to last. Bob Latchford who remembered having his pic with me at a book signing. Barry Horne, talked Welsh footie with me. Jim Pearson always has a little chat with me. My Timmy, thanked him for signing a poster for friends in Sydney who get married next Feb. Alan Whittle always has a chuckle with us. The legend that is Mick Lyons, who grinned so much on me saying how fantastic it was to see him. Neil whatsisname from the Bill and Corrers. Finally the 1st person, none other than Robert Elstone, who thanked me for my honesty and for giving him respect. I told him i respected him even though i sometimes dont agree, and sometimes do, but he never ducks the fans, openly walking around outside where he could be the victim of someone who might have a right gripe with him but not have the sense to put over their opinions fairly. He again said he really appreciated what i said and agreed it had been a tough day for him yesterday, thanked me again asking my name in the process, and all this with his family waiting for him in his car, while he went around talking to people.
And then we went on to win, whooopeeee
