    www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/nov/18/everton-investigation-email-hacking

"A host of correspondence involving the director of communications, Ian Ross, including unused press releases and conversations with fellow Everton employees, was posted on a popular supporters' website on Thursday night. They were later removed by the website's administrators but were reportedly reproduced elsewhere."

first we had the blue onions releasing the content of a private meeting to the press now we have a similar, tho more serious situation.

Is there no limit to the depths that these dregs will sink?

Who would want to deal with these underhanded people.

They say they love our club yet treat it like this

The first three posts all indicate, in fact the OP mentions 'Blue Onion' which is a nickname given by the anti-BU brigade for Blue Union......

Andy the mail is talking about the BU meeting with BK and recording the meeting it then says that this is another and more serious leak but does not blame BU.

But now that you bring it up I think you might be on to something

ye right just like gary cooks account was "hacked", he should be sacked for this.

we suspected most of the things on the emails anyway, and its nice to finally have these confirmed.

using the likes of andy grays show on talksport to compare us to leeds and blackburn saying how well we are doing, while in return he gets a nice sum of money from the former players foundation, even tho he has earnt well over 25m since retiring.

    Pathetic.

It will be interesting to see which tactics they use before the next protest now that the old "lets get cahill and gray to talk to the press about how well we are doing" or the old "we are in talks with 3 major parties" are out in the open

To be fair though tickets, Is'nt this what any club does/ would do?  Try to release good press I mean? There is plenty of bad press so why not ask former players etc to big up the club? nothing  wrong with it in my opinion

Reading the e-mail I do not see much wrong with what RE is doing and should be doing to improve the image of the club. Also if Cahill is asked to speak up then he will do and so should any player. Ex players are also rallying to support us which shows loyalty.

Ian Ross is an arrogant **** and the times I have met him he has always given me that impression. RE on the other hand always comes across well and open to discuss the club. When he was appointed to replace Wyness I felt it was a positive move and a much more competent to grow the club.

We can all see the problems and all agree that the club is very unattractive but spend our time slating everyone involved. I do not agree with some of the things the club is doing and believe the board are part of the problem with the lack of investment.

Leaking this mail is low but hopefully gives RE the chance to modernise his managemet team and get rid of the likes of Ross. I hope there is new investment and with that a new chairman with a better business ethos.

If RE stays I would not be disappointed like Moyes he is running a business with no money . Yes in most companies the CEO should bring in investment but we all know BK "is the best salesman for Everton" and from what I hear the reason most investors disappear. I like Bills passion but wish he would take a back seat and let it get done professionally.
