Posts: 7,583November 2011 I have met Robert Elstone on a few occassions. Once through a forum at the supporters club im a member and the other times outside GP. He never ducks any question put to him, whether you agree or not, he doesnt shy away from the fans. He was blunt about the club 2yrs ago inthe forum i attended, and how vital it is to get investment, or well just be also rans. So in no way can i believe that he isnt trying to find the right buyers(is that his job alone anyway), and as i said he walks outside the ground open to any over excited fan who might not be too clever in putting their points over, but will talk to you if your sensible with your delivery of concern.
Im not saying i agree with all he says or does in fact quite the opposite at times, but he doesnt duck the fans and is always the 1st to say anything unlike his bosses..... -
