Posts: 530November 2011 Keith Harris say that a bid of about £150-160million would be the going price for Everton, on Sky sports news today?
I haven't seen it personally, but have heard from a few people that this is the case.
What does everyone think about that for a price for our beloved club? I'm hoping that that would include the paying off of all our debt also

Posts: 4,680November 2011 Well lets not forget that if the club was ever to be taken over Woods, Carter, Kenwright and Earl would all have their shares bought off them as they are the major shareholders in the club. Lets not forget that these people (especially Earl) will want to sell his shares for more than what he bought them for so that's probably where this figure has came from. When was he on SSN anyway?

Thats why i'd hope that that was including the debts being written off. Especially when you consider the price paid for the club

I agree but as I said, it won't just be BK who will want to be bought out, it will be all the major shareholders in the club such as the names I have mentioned. If someone was to buy these people out they would own about 70% of the club, so that's probably were that figure has came from. -

But as I say we now have Earl and Carter on the board who will want to make some money from the club. I personally don't think that the club would cost £150-£160M to buy but I can understand where this figure has came from. -

Posts: 19,512November 2011 He did say when pushed £150m but didnt mention about debt. Debt figure is difficult at present, i'd suggest c.£15m after player sales. He would be silly to give a price that didnt include debt. In any event thats a high price!
