    could of had either of those players or both for 5mil, but no we pay 25 for felli and billy. its just not all about the money and that proves big sam wud of done a better job. chairmans left it to late now we`re on the decline no1 will wanna join us.

    Rather have Felli. He's a lot younger then Parker and far more talented then Barton

    Thats just utter rubbish.

    Barton is and has always been trouble. No big club would take the gamble... as their manager said, he's better than QPR at the moment but he comes with baggage and thats is why he is there. If anything, we'd be in decline if we went for Barton.

    Parker, when we had the chance to sign him he was leaving chelsea and said he wanted to play european football. We'd just finished fourth too and were looking good for his signature.... he signed for newcstle for 10k more a week. Aside from newcastle he's played for palace, chelsea, west ham and has now moved to spurs... he is, in all fairness, fairly settled in London... and when he was forced to move away from london he opted to move for money.

    So lets not kid ourselves, we aren't in london and we don't pay silly wages and we aren't a newly promoted side desperate to stay up to the extend that we'd gamble on barton either.

    In summary, your opening line is complete bollix.
