OGV. Do you think we wouldn't have lost by 5 if we'd done things your way? Prove it!

Even tho you haven't actually said what your way is. Pretty easy that.

We have no left or right wingers so you're gonna moan whoever plays there. The Argie kid isn't up to it. If we'd played him you'd be moaning about that. If we were playing a 17 year old kid every game you'd be moaning about that -there's a season why no teams play 17 year old kids every game like!

Think you will find OGV does not moan and will legally kick your @$$ for even suggesting that due to slander.....

Distin started on the bench - mistake - by far our best defender this year

He started with Neville in CM - mistake - defender in midfield

We lined up to not concede - mistake - we concede week in week out. Why park the bus if the bus is in fact a small people carrier.

We went 1-0 and with Neville getting injured we brought on Distin and put Heitinga in CM - mistake - defender in midfield

We persisted with Osman off Saha but he barely got involved - mistake - midfielder up front and one who is lazy

We switched wingers - mistake - Coleman is limited enough on the right, but totally ineffective on the left

We brought on McFadden - mistake - he isn't good enough, never was. The knock to the confidence of the other subs!

We dropped Barkley from squad - mistake - he only got back in because Vellios injured himself. Why knock his confidence?

    back to the thread....

I rarely question Moyes' tactics, but today's showing was poor beyond belief. I love our manager but lately he has been really **** me off. We obviously need to produce more up front -be it through formation and/or player changes- I could really care less as long as something is changed. I enjoy seeing Drenthe out wide, but we need to start adjusting the front, not the sides. We obviously haven't replenished our attacking options and that has really bit us in the ****.

Today's match was disappointing, hell I had to fast forward through most of it so I wouldn't drink myself into oblivion... The first 20 minutes we're basically appalling, sadly it didn't get much better after that. I thought Rodwell was effective when he was given headers, but other than Drenthe, I thought we we're basically ****, and it kills me to say that. Something has to change...

where did I say he IS moaning. I have stated what he WOULD BE moaning about if other alternative options were exercised. It would be kinda hard to accuse him of moaning about things being done that were never done like.

Any **** who has never watched a football game in their lives can say everything the manager did was wrong without offering any alternative whatsoever. That's very very easy. It's only when you try to come up with the alternative 11 (even if you can assume to know all the players fitness details) that you realize to yourself, Oh ****, my way still has a pile of **** on the pitch with players still out of position!

No the prove it thing has a point behind it. That being, it's easy to say this was wrong and that was wrong when you don't know what performance\result would have occurred with things done your way.

We had an awful 20-25 minutes today. Apart from that I saw an away performance where we actually dominated possession, territorial advantage, had 15 shots at goal, scored, hit the post, had a stone wall penalty turned down, and limited a good\confident home side to no clear cut chances including their goals. We deserved 3 goals today and they certainly didn't create enough to deserve 2, and if we'd had got even an even amount of luck, there'd be none of this talk about managers mistakes without giving any viable alternative. All would be rosy.

That's my last word on the matter. Off out for a few bevvy's. Have a good night mate. Nothing personal like

Fair enough Beano but why are we bringing in players who aren't up to it? There are obviously problems with the club but I'd like to see Moyes play players in their proper position. Fellaini came saying he was a defensive midfielder but he wasn't played there and everyone laughed when he kept saying he was a DM. Then he plays there and hey presto, he's brilliant (and I do understand he was a bit wild while settling). How much did we spend on Bilyaletdinov? He scores for Russia, where he plays off the striker but we play him on the wing even when we can't score for toffee, if you'll excuse the pun. Defenders in midfield? Why? I've supported Everton for nearly 45 years and it's heartbreaking to know the season's pretty much ended almost every winter.

    ended almost every winter???

    - have you not noticed the runs Everton go on during the 2nd half of the season, I believe that comes after winter...

True but in terms of any hopes of winning a trophy they usually go out of  the window quite quickly, as do hopes of qualifying for Europe because Everton leave themselves with so much to do. When we do qualify we don't go as far as we should
