Drenthe and Landon playing wide, how is that?

I wish that Donovan will land here on the MLS break.

And someone with quality as well in january, that we will be glad for.

Donovan is a decent player but he not a significant step up from Coleman so I'd rather see Everton invest in other areas.

I rate Donovan higher than Coleman to be honest.

I'd say Coleman is a lot more talented with the ball at his feet but Donovan has a better cross although Coleman's cross Vs Chelsea for Saha's goal was impressive

But that Coleman cross was the only time I can remember him putting in a cross that lead to a goal. Donovan did it several times and he was only here for 3 months. Coleman is fast but technically Donovan is far better.

That should be a massive honour for him to play along side a truly talented player, and Hibbo will be happy too.

Anyone on here remember its a long time ago since Donovan was here, is he the same player now? did we get the best of him when he was with us? Name me a player who has returned to Everton and done as well 2nd time round? Should have bought him back then, but we didnt have the cash, so accept it as somat we missed out on but was fun while he was here.

Nigel Martyn (got on loan then bought)
Yobo (got on loan then bought)
Howard (got on loan then bought)
Mikel Arteta (got on loan then bought)
Manny Fernandes didn't do too bad second time round
    Duncan Ferguson
Stubbs (our season turned around when we bought him back)

There's probably more but you get my point

Hear what your trying to say but only DUNC and Stubbsy came back after being away not as long as Donavan has, and only Stubbsy would i agree with. Dunc was my hero but to say he was half the player when he came back well........
