    Up until a couple hours ago I had thought about hanging up my BR boxing gloves and going into retirement, but Galaway reminded me how much I love this place.

    This has to be on of the most pointless threads in history! How the **** has is got nearly 10 pages of comments although I shouldn't really complain as I have been a large contributer to this thread.

    Fizz........  My sensible posts stopped when this stupid new forum was created.

    Look at the your posting, you had thousands before, where you been?

    I am still the person I was in the beginning, no alter ego here lid....  I would say 80% of the posts on here a meaningless and has no relevance to EFC, hence the this pointless post....  If you do write a serious post you end up getting a load of jokey replies...

    I started using the BR when the likes of ToffeeCup (still here), Bluebird, Yobo (still here) Hungover Blue, Tony (still here), Vandamage (been seen recently),1ceablue (still here), Wayno, Laura Jane, Carmella and Feeds (still here sometimes) when he was Feeds were all on here. Even Prophet when he was Makavelli Blue.

    Many of those are or were posters who have/had a bit of bite to their posts and weren't particularly keen on the idea of having some form of authority on here (such as the mods) but I have seen a massive change in attitudes as to how the BR should be run and I believe it is down to that, that we have lost posters, and some bloody good ones at that. 

    I guess the changing times and attitudes in society have kind of made it necessary for internet forums such as this one to take a step towards a kind of 'Big Brother' method of moderation. 'Watch what you say or do on here, we're watching you and if you don't abide by our rules, you'll be kicked out'. 

    Probably many of you will disagree but that's just my take on it.

    I disagree'

    We are very tolerant and only 1 person has been banned on this new format.

    I believe only 3/4 were banned on the last one as well.

    Lots of closing down and reopening doesnt help...  nor does changing a format that people were okay about. Also the combined forum has thrown the illumati together with the plebs which has scared the plebs and frustrated the illuminati :(
