Well we are searching far and wide
Normally Aston Villa snap up young lads from Finland but here is a link

    http://www.iltasanomat.fi/jalkapallo/12-vuotias-suomalaispoika-evertonin-junioriakatemiaan/art-1288424490381.html

Rough details are ,he is twelve and he and his family and going to move to Liverpool and he is on a two year agreement
The nice thing is he has chosen the blues and his family are real chuffed

im just giving an answer we have got him untill hes 14 im sorry but we need players now barkley cant get a game now , i dont want to wait 5/6 years fed up doing that, barkley will probably be sold on, so getting another good young player doesnt excite me the way it did in the past. thanks for sharing it but it just bores me now, unless we get a big takeover were just going to turn into a feeder club, develop them at our accademy, we get all excited then they get sold to pay off our debt that in 5/6 years time will probably be back upto 60 million or worse, want these players to become greats for us not man utd or others. had a shoite day so in a negative mood as usual.

I for once is happy about the news. Thanks for sharing, mate. Excited for him and his stay here, and from Finland - is it the only finnish boy we've got?

And remember he chose the blues. =D

ofc he chose us , like in any profession you choose the best place to learn your trade and everton have one of the best academys around, doesnt ultimately mean hes going to be here long term, were probably a stepping stone for good young talent now, when that age it doesnt matter, you go to the place with the best reputaion for developing young players. yes this is great for the club, but as i said they wont stay here and become greats for us if there top class. bah still in a shoite mood not much sleep and got night shift soon :-(

    Just an update
This lad has just been on TV and he won 2010 golden boot -I think in Belgium -and was wearing the Everton kit ,god it was sooooo good to see a Finn  wearing royal blue
He could have gone to shitee or the redshite but chose us  so a hero in the making
Seems very level headed for a twelve year old and of course being a Finn he speaks English as well
    Come on
    Miko Vertanen
