But the main reason I would happily sell him is because he always goes off to play for his country and he seems to come back injured every time. Sometimes he goes to play for them in the middle of the season and he comes back injured, and we have to pay his wages while he is playing for Australia.
I also think that if Cahill was sold Moyes would play 4 4 2 more often, and I am sure we all agree that 4 4 2 is better than 4 5 1 with Cahill playing just off the striker. Cahill has done well for us and scored some crucial goals, but I don't think he is as important to
us as he once was.
Anyone agree?
Sell our top scorer from last season?
get a grip

You cant look at 1 season that he was not only injured but was in the world cup. Name me one player who had a half decent season after playing in the world cup. If there was, it would be few and far between, and probably someone who was country was knocked out early stages. LEGEND, YOU'LL BE TALKING ABOUT HIM WHEN YOU ALL GROW UP, TO YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN. So stop this Cahill bashing now, or im going to have you all wiped off the face of the earth.

Chill out gramps, nobody hates him, but he is getting into the twilight of his career and we do need to start looking at other options so we dont seem so predictable....we were better with him out of the team last year as blue11 says, the stats speak for themselves, im not knocking him as a person or for what he has done for the club over the years like :)
