should've beaten them. we're missing that extra bite that we had in previous seasons. it just doesn't feel right at the moment even when we bet fulham last week, I wasn't as pumped as I usually would be.

Unlucky to lose and we did deserve a draw. It wasn't a penalty on Gueye but if we'd been winning 1-0 and that happened at the other end, you can be certain it would've been given!

Gueyes looked like one at first but wasn't.. Felli one the other hand was a blatant pen. Still another game another load of very small decisions for us and big decisions for them, comes with being an Everton fan. We were all over them and anyone who doesn't think we were the better team was watching something else. The traffic was completely one way and they were reduced to the odd counter attack here and there, we had the ball for most of the game and played well. Feel better about Everton today than I did after the Fulham game to be honest.

Def deserved a draw.........could only see us scoring from a set piece, and Baines hitting the crossbar was the key moment....rodwell's improvement continues....

didn't think any of our peno claims were peno's to be fair.

upon reflection. we probably were the better side but we just dont have that killer instinct. we just dont have players who make darting runs or have a go at players (apart from Coleman, who i think is great).

and 1 nil down and in need of a goal and DM takes off our best striker !....Anyone?

Really unlucky there, as AAMH says, we lacked killer instinct and couldn't finish, but we played well and apart from the goal and a couple of chances, they weren't anything special. Was surprised how poor they were actually. Thought we should defo have had two pens, especially the first one on Felli, the guy was getting dragged down all over the place and Halsey, who I have a lot of respect for, was giving nothing. Poor performance from the ref again lets us down, as well as finishing.

We defended okay and we passed the ball around well but we never did anything with it. We had absolutely nothing in the final 3rd and we had absolutely no movement up front.

Rodwell's improvement continues?.... well really slowly imo. His positioning when the opposition are on the ball is baffling, and his hunger to win back a ball is so poor. He did get in some good forward positions, but either dallied to eventually pass, or had some poor shots at goal. Still needs to grow up, and show some responsibility and agression......

Why is everyone saying we deserved a draw at least? We may have defended decent and we may have passed the ball around well, but we did nothing with it and we have absolutely nothing up front. We could still be playing now and still wouldn't have scored, and it doesn't help when the manager continues to play the same old negative, predictable tactics.
