Disrespectful Phil Neville at West Brom game

He's sat in the away end with Mancs cheering them on. I can't believe it. While you're employed and club captain of another team your only loyalties should be with the team paying your wages.

No other set of supporters in the country would accept this behaviour.

    Zero respect for Everton. Shocking.

Is it any different to players cheering their teams on on twitter?

Wasn't Rooney at the cup final against Chelsea.

I'm sure there's plenty who go to the game when they're not playing

You can be sat in the neutrals section for a game without a problem. I'd even allow them to put it down as research on the expenses but to be in the away end is completely different story. You have all the time in the world to go and support your "true team" when you've retired not beforehand. I'm sat with a Geordie mate who is even shaking his head at his decision.

I'm more disappointed we didn't sign Long... He's looked quality so far, well taken goal.

So United haven't signed the new Buffon, its more the new Almunia?

Yer looks boss like that goal was class the way it rolled 1mph into the goal because the keeper flopped it.

I'm sure Moyes would have given him permission.

He might be on a scouting mission...

OR he just loves his football, and takes every chance to go watch it

Grow up lad, he won a shed load of medals with united, he's with his dad who is a united supporter, and he's our captain, get over it. The fact you have a Geordie mate sums it up really, deluded idiots..........

I can see the issue but can't say i am arsed about it.

As long as he gives his all when wearing a blue shirt then it's happy days

Phil Neville is trending worldwide on Twitter. That shows a few people do share my concern.

He's never given his all when facing the Mancs. It's like having a loanee who shouldn't be allowed to start against them.

If you check what the tweets are saying, you'll see its mainly United fans saying "Nevs a red" or fans saying not bothered!

As long as a player isn't in the Kop, or the away end at Goodison/ home end when Everton play away then no dramas
