    When is he going to realize that Andrews and Whelan are pants and pick Hoolahan and McCarthy in the center. Hoolahan does'nt even get considered and he's been by far Irelands strongest preformer....

    I think Whelan does a job for us and serves a purpose but its not pretty to watch. But traps reluctance to try out some one more creative alongside him is a worry and has resulted in very little creativity going forward. On the plus side Trap has made Ireland very hard to beat. Now if we could just break sides down and keep the ball  we might have a chance to qualify. Long being injured is a huge loss....however **** has impressed me and hopefully trap will have the sense to bring in Best.

    Still I look back to the shambles that was the Staunton "manager" (I use the word manager in its loosest context here) era and realise how much we have improved.

    Cuz Duff is a magician when he plays for ireland + he's a left winger... McGeady is'nt the player he should be though.
