Drenthe looks talented but..

I wish he'd just keep it simple at times. Too many times he tries to over complicate everything instead of just simply passing the ball or crossing it in. If Moyes can take this out of him he could be a great player.

Are you joking? Drenthe is the only exciting player we have and you want to take that away?...

    I concur.
He will make and score goals, but he could just as easy cost us a goal by overdoing it, as you said when a simple pass will do. But id rather this than Billy............brings excitement to the game......

I hope it's a good circle for Bily having Drenthe around. Remember Drenthe is fresh out the blue box, his good work will adapt to the team without getting worse.

    he's not joking.

drenthe is smarter than the rest of the squad, he see's further ahead. its up to them to raise their game.

I agree, the man does look very promising but maybe he's trying a bit too hard to impress, he needs to relax and have more composure at times.
I was at the Fulham game last week and at times he tried to do too much and take on too many, he also dives in very early in the tackle which makes him easy to get around. Maybe a little lazy in tracking back too. Has the potential to be a mad ****, which is why RM are seemingly writing off the 14mill they paid for him

BUT, having said all that I really do like him, strong, fast, powerful, passionate and gets the fans on their feet whenever he gets the ball. Sign him up Davey!

I like him really hope he stays, just got a feeling someone like tottenham will come and pinch him from us. if fellaini signs and drenthe does permo, will be a good year for us regardless, get a striker in the summer kick on from there

I think we've gotta give him a chance, he's trying to impress at the mo and he as done, once he gets use to the pace of the Prem I think he'll be a star Dan

I'm not writing him off I'm just saying he's over complicating everything when really (at times) the simple option is the better one. Similar to Barkley against QPR, they're trying too hard to impress.
