I don't think his heart has been in it for EFC for a few months now, so let;s ged rid of him in Jan and get someone who wants to play and give it all for EFC.

I like him as a player, but I want players who are totally comitted to EFC.

PS - I have just posted a curly wig on e-bay if anyone is interested.

I must be the only one that thought he was okay yesterday.. From when he won the tackle that Rodwell picked up to give to Drenthe for the first goal to near the end when he managed to keep the ball in play when it looked clearly to be going out, ran up field, went past a player which is unheard of and passed it to Saha who lost it. Seemed committed to me.. Annoys m though when he is played out of position.
Thought he passed the ball better than many although often his passes came just after a Jags pass which to be fair does make most look good.
Maybe its blinkered, maybe its just what you look out for, if I looked just for faults in any player I could probably come to the conclusion he had a bad game.

he has never been that great.

im amazed people keep on talking about his future potential, he lacks several things in his game and has done since he joined here.

when has the ball always looks for the short pass

    lacks pace

    cant cross

    cant shoot

poor in the air despite his height and often gives away free kicks

all he does is break up play and then pass the ball to the nearest player

to be a decent DM in todays game you need to be able to defend but also drive forward.  look at the top 6 teams.

united-dont have/need a convential DM they use carrick or anderson who can also attack when needed

chelsea- ramires essien, both can make runs forward.

arsenal-now use areteta as the sitting midfielder to spray the passes out wide.

RS-have lucas and adam both capable of getting forward.

Spurs-sandro who can get forward and hit one from 30 yards.

City-Yaya toure defends and gets forward to help the team.

in todays game an old fashioned DM isnt needed you need to offer more.  hence why I cant see any of the top6 going for him, he doesent offer enough.  and to add to that moyes will price him out of a move in jan and probably the summer aswell.

Those of you who think he is `quality` or `a class act` must be crazy. He`s had a handful of good games for Everton in his career and he hasnt lived up to the price tag. Sloppy passes, sluggish movement and generally not a threat.
Had his chance. Now we should sell and try to get our money back

Oh behave tickets, he cant shoot or cross, fck me he's a holding midfielder who cares, howard cant head the ball he's a **** keeper now then, fellaini is a class player just playing like he doesnt wanna be here, lucas capable of getting foward HAHAHAH behave his goal ratio is a joke, and since when is adam a defensive midfielder, he's very much a playmaker same as arteta, you forget to mention song is there dm as is de jong for city. essien and ramires your right are defensive midfielders who attack but there more box to box midfielders whos jobs are to do both, were as fellainis is to break up play which he does very good,

He is a defensive midfielder and his job is to break things up in midfield, what more do you want him to do? His job is to put himself about and keep it simple, he is not required to go forward he is in the team to break things up in the middle and he does that very well. He is not a winger nor is he an attacking midfielder so does it really matter if his crossing ability is not his strong point? David Silva cannot slide tackle or win headers so does this mean he doesn't offer enough? And stop being biased towards Lucas and Adam just because they play for your beloved Liverpool FC  :-)

Very very unimpressed with him the last few weeks and again today.
He seems totally uninterested in Everton anymore and seems to be just waiting for his move.

We nearly lost that game today coz of him. Gave away possession easily and then just stops playing and it leads to Zamora missing that sitter! No interest in chasing back whatsoever!

Needs a kick up the **** or a dropping and sold in January if possible! He has no intention of signing an extension! Been saying that for weeks!

Totally agree with u has i said before is mind is set elsewhere now.

Season 1.. 9 goals, its not his strength but put him up front and he is effective but time after time he will use his real strength and this just to do a simple lay off after the ball has gone to him and he is surrounded by players. He does a turn or two keeping players off with his strength, then he's in space, and he lays it off.. Its fairly basic but he's one of maybe two or 3 players in our squad capable of doing it and it and by far the best, it turns panic into calm.. unfortunately he often lays it off to Jags or Neville which turns calm into a throw in for the opposition.. but that's beside the point.
As a DM he has strength and is quicker than he looks, can header i've seen it many times, stays calm and keeps the ball well.. Up front where he is not as effective he scores goals and thats all you can ask for.
He's not running around like a headless chicken and is often out of position but that aside I personally think he is our most important player behind Baines and Distin.
