Decent player who has been hampered by injury.

1 year rolling contract would be a good option

Barton is definitely making an impact on the Arsenal game. But I still don't think he's as good as Felli or Arteta.

yeh he made a big impact that incident reminded me why he should not get within 100 miles of our club.

Barton got stamped on and 'slapped' in the face and he's getting abused. Fair enough he should of stayed on his feet but at the end of the day that's just too much of a rare event these days.

its his reaction to the dive that was disgracefull, instead of leaving it to the ref to sort out he caused mayhem, which resulted in the player getting sent off, i would of more than slapped barton for man handling me like that. yeh he got stamped on and slapped, but the slapping incident would never of happened if he had walked away , something which he can never do and will always get into trouble on and off the pitch.

I WANT BARTON, GET HIM IN. ROY KEANE WAS A NUTTER AND IT DIDNT STOP HIM BEING A QUALITY PLAYER.

    Barton is a thug.
You want to compare him with Keane who was an immense player and would have graced any team?
    Get some perspective lad.

My point beign mate, is that as much as Keane was immense, quality or whatever word you wish to use, he was still a bit crackers. Joey has calmed down loads on the field, and at the end of the day thats the most imprtant thing imo.

"he was a bit crackers"...thats it? but Barton has calmed!
As I say like but what's the point in repeating myself
If you really think both are of the same ilk there is little point trying to convince you otherwise..just google their records..

At the end of the day mate, he's a quality player for nothing, we know he is a bit temperamental, but we have no money, so we are going to have to explore these sorts of avenues to give ourselves a bit more strength in depth.

footballing wise I'd have Barton and leave Moyes to sort out the rest and that's what he does best

I thinks it you who's lost perspective here Deso.

Keane has admitted deliberately setting out to injure people.

For me that shows a lack of class whoever it is.

His managerial career is a bit **** as well.

Back on topic... Vicente is a very slow winger... very good quality footballer though. His main problem in injuries. Always injured, I would highly doubt Moyes wants to sign yet another injury prone player.
