    I`m from North America and can`t be botherd watching something as boring as baseball... I would rather watch my neighbor cut his lawn for 3 hours than sit there and watch guys spit and scratch their nut sac every 5 minutes. You have guys who are 300 lbs playing a sport? And they consider themselves athletes...

    I stopped watching baseball when the Tigers lost to the Rangers in game 6 last weekend.

    I`ve been to 3 games in my life. One in New York and 2 in Boston. The games were good, but I am not a fan of this game either. I am Canadian and we have our own league called the CFL which when it is compared to the NFL, it is like comparing the EPL with the Bulgarian Super league if you catch my drift. The Americans know how to throw a party before the game in the stadium parking lots and they are all very passionate about their teams. Even more so with their University teams. The game were entertaining but thats as far as it goes. Must say that I do watch the Super Bowl for the commercials though...

    LOL... I personally don`t consider WWE a real sport... But I give them an A in entertainment and agility even if I don`t watch it.

The thing with baseball, it is the only Major League in the world that has all the best players in it. When compared to football (English) there are teams everywhere in each country for over 100 years now; with ice hockey (which is a big thing where I am from) there are leagues in Europe and some parts of Asia as well for a very long time; American Football NFL, there are leagues in Canada and I beleive there use to be the WFL and AFL back in the day... So in baseball, even though it is popular in Japan and parts of the Carribbean as well in recent years, in the late 1800`s it was the only league and the commisioner back then declared that the playoffs will be called the World Series and it stuck since then.

    ^^ Your asking the wrong guy... By America I beleive you mean USA? I am Canadian if you do. Completely different country in a much better economical climate as well. I don't have Benajamin Franklin on my currency, we have the Queen... So why they don't win at Olympics, I really don't know :)
