    As you say, very sad, but that last line is just typical of the Scouse humour in adversity. Brilliant series.

    Remember a story my boss told me abot this old fella who died that worked in the dock area of L'pool in the 70s. My boss used to help deliver some equipment to this company there, where these lads and this old fella would go to the local pub for their lunch every day for years, when this one day the old fella dropped dead in the pub. They all quietly just picked him up, carried him back to work sat him in his chair, and as far as anyone else knew thats where he died, which enabled the family to claim money for him dying while in his place of work, as he wouldnt have had a penny if it was out of work.
    Thats what you call mates i guess, quite poignant i think...............
    Just thought i'd share that useless bit of information to you all, its just something that made me stop and think.............
