its gotta put some kinda pressure on the board. they are doin nothing. How many teams have progressed further than us over the last few years. A lot ! Its gone on too long and we are falling further and further behind.
It wont be long before we are uninvestable. At least these guys are trying to make something happen even if a lot of you disagree with their methods

1 as we finished 8th last year, previously it was 7th.. The other 6 were already ahead of us. Those that are catching us will soon get to the point they cannot make a profit because of the wages they are spending and find themselves in the situation we are in. Once we clear our debt we can start rebuilding but with a quality starting team.
given the choice of being 10mil in debt when Kenwright took over we the team we ahd and the wages we were spending to having the debt we have now with the team we have, I would take this one any day of the week.
The difference in debt between when we were taken over and now can be recouped by selling one or two players and still leave us a massively superior squad to what we had.
I am sorry you think that going from relegation fodder to regular euro contenders is something to protest about but I am sure you would think it better to have someone that will continue to spend dispite there being no money to spend.
I am sure their are plenty of people out there who believe BU have the personnel at their disposal to ensnare a billionaire into spending 300mil at the minimum to turn us into challengers and another 100+mil to get us a new stadium adn another 50mil to clear our debts and then another 50 to reclaim all our assets despite not actually being able to generate the funds to cover our current wages structure let alone what would be required to actually cahllenge for silverware.
As far as I am concerned since the board are not taking money I am happy for them to continue to do what is necessary to keep the wolves at bay and the doors to the club open whilst only selling fringe players like Beckford, Yakubu or those that slap in a transfer request or refuse to sign like Arteta and Pienaar.
This year is a hard one but a required one because after it we will of cleared debt and reduced wages and can build on that.. From now on we should be able to sell to buy again. Its the harsh reality of not having one of the few billionaire owners that are willing to throw money away these days.. deal with it or protest.. your choice but it won't help.

Doomed? 8th? get a grip man.
As for the rest, stop reading the doomongerers anti kenwright conspiracies as gospel or show me one person who said they turned Everton down because it cost too much. I expect they just realised the money was not there to be had.

Who are these `wolves`. ???  I dont think Man City call their owners `wolves` right now. if thats what you mean.

you think we will be deby free next season? are you serious? Bk has already come out and said that we are losing 4 mill in debt every season. and we are 40 odd mill in debt. How long is Dm gonna keep pulling rabbits out his hat. how long will he put up with it !.. the bottom line is you think protesting wont help and I do.. .

the doomed quote was in reference to another posters quote. apologies for not using quotes.
and by your rationale you are wanting just one name who turned us down. well lets say if you are right and no has then why would people wanna invest in the future? we are on a downward slope. whats gonna make us more investable in the future?

IMO, we are jsut in a transitional period this season, as hard as it is to accept, i think we consolidate, aim for top 10, and i expect us to improve in 2012....

those supporters of the Blue Onion need to realise that they are not the only path to sainthood. I too want change, but I'd never join this unscrupulous error prone rabble who can't even explain how their proposal for change is going to work. When are they going to realise that they are only a small part of the fanbase? I'd love them to have another march and see it fall flat on its face.

yeah totally agree why protest sure we arent getting much investment but if moyes had a good formation set out i know absolutly no1 would be complaining about it its not like we dont have the players to be in the euro places every year, but i dont see moyes changing the formation we have had for years which every1 knows. if we had saha upfront with vellios we would be winning matches it just seems to lost the spirit we were once reknowed for. the protest just seem a way to split the supporters, board and maybe even the players. we are meant to be in the stadium cheering our team on not outside crying like little girls!
come on moyes vellios deserves a start along with saha not one or the either!
COYB WE MAY HAVE LOST 2 STREAKS AGAINST CHELSEA N CITY BUT LETS START A NEW 1 WITH FULLHAM N CRAVEN COTTAGE!

How will protesting help? Will protesting make an investor appear from nowhere? Nothing has changed since the last protest, and what would you expect to change?
