Apart from Ozzy and Cahill, if you played Barkley behind the striker, Drenthe on the left, Coleman on the right, Felli and Rodwell in the middle, you havnt got a single player over the age of 23 in midfield, and we need experiince in there imo.

Posts: 5,192October 2011 fed up of moyes saying hes worried about one of the bigger teams coming in for him, hes going to be a superstar moyes says and hes not for sale , ohhhhhhhh wait if a big offer came in over 15 million then going to be difficult to turn down, thought we didnt have to sell anymore players, but if its a big offer then thats different, he will be gone before hes even started a dozen games for everton, particularly if moyes keeps informing all and sundry hes a superstar who can be got for over 15 million. at least we will have some money to spend on a few more mcfaddens.

yeh and we all really want drenth to play hey, maybe put barkley in for cahill, i dont think fellani suits that position -

i think fellaini and rodwell breaking up play is the way forward but we should play 2 out and out wingers, i would maybe igve coleman a rest, gueye on the left and drenthe on the right vellios and saha upfront or one of them upfront and barkley or cahill supporting

Posts: 1,091October 2011 Maybe he's just not playing him because he doesn't want him catching the eye of a big team before he signs a decent contract. Hard to hold out for big money if he can leave for free in a short period of time.

Posts: 137October 2011 I don't get this one. Someone WILL make a large bid for this kid whether its this season or next. Whats the point of nurturing him to play for someone else? I HATE to say it but liverpool FC had the right idea with Owen. Burn him out early and reap the benefits of higher league positions to build on. Someone will STILL come in and pay big for him.

ease barkley into what, we tried that with rooney and rodwell and look how that turned out.
barkley is our most creative midfielder he needs to play.

He's been out for 2yrs yes, but has come back as the best young player in the country according to all the big teams who are going to bid for him. Moyes then says he will get as much playing time as possible for the reserves??? thought we were easing him back. If he's as good as everyone thinks, and i for one seeing him think they are right, then we should be playing him, coz we need to see him as much as possible as Evertonians, as he WILL be sold eventually to one of those clubs, its a fact of reality.
Whats that saying, "if your good enough................ -
