why do people hate him so much? hes always played out of position and has only ever really had a good run at centre back and that was when jags got injured, the second half of that season we were excellent and played some nice football, the defense was solid and hietenga and disten had a good partnership, heitenga gets found out in the midfield, but at the back when he can see the bigger picture hes much better, hes a lot better on the ball than jags, hes more composed and to be honest when he played for a long spell with disten we looked a hell of a lot more solid than we do now. holland cant be wrong world cup final centre half and didnt look out of place playing against top quality players. jags is mistake after mistake this year. give johhhhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnyyyyyyyyy a go :-))

10 reasons why Sheitinga shouldn't play:

    1. He's arrogant (one of the top 3 defenders in the world comment)
    2. Using Everton as a stone (continuously talks about clubs he'd like to join)
    3. Shows the club no respect (look at argument 2)
    4. Continuously wonders out of position
    5. Not even talented (If someone says "world cup finalist" to me again I'll have to slap you)
    6. Even with their mistakes Distin and Jagielka are better
    7. He keeps flying wildly into tackle (He's a red card waiting to happen)
    8. His mental game (aka positioning and decision making) is terrible
    9. He cowers out of tackles against bigger players
    10. He's £6million sitting on the bench! Sell him!!!

utter tripe most of them , nothing wrong with self confidence, using us as a stepping stone? he must be well pisssed off seeing jags making mistake after mistake and not getting a game, shows the club no respect? in what way.continually wanders out of position, did you watch him with disten when he had a good run at centre half he was excellent, hes not a midfielder if he wanders out of position then blame moyes for playing him out of position, not even talented? well go away and slap yourself.
he didnt have any problems wtih tackilng playing games at centre back with disten, his decision making and positioning wansnt a problem at centre back, he didnt flinch any tackles when playing centre half regularly, dont you read the post , all your so called faults with him have been playing out of position, he was excellent at centre half for us with disten when jags was injured, we played nice football and didnt see the constant mistakes at the back we see now.

When I'm talking about his game play I only talking about his abilities (or lack of them) at centre back. In fact I think he's a better defensive mid although that's not saying much. And I Don't know who this "Disten" fella is.

about sums you up only reply is to pick on a spelling mistake, he was good when he had a good run at centre back and thats a fact , stop talking total tripe mate you posted 10 facts that most were total boloxxxxxxxxx, well proof is in the eating the only time hes had a good run at centre back our results and performances were excellent and we were defensively solid, stop just making up utter garbage unless you can back it up. you obviously never watched a single game when he had a good run at centre half, or your just a hater of heitenga and nothing will change your mind.

I still think Jags is a quality player but currently making too many mistakes. Similar to Distin last year. I would support giving him a chance at CD. He is another player who Everton play out of position and weakens the balance of the team. Time to play the players in their best position and see how we get on.

he played centre half regularly when jagielka was injured and played very well in most of them think we lost 2 games in 25 and were excellent and solid at the back, him a distin had a very good partnership. and thats the only time hes had a decent run at centre half, tell me the last time jagielkas had a really good game at centre back, and not looked like making a mistake.

and this isnt a slag off jags post, i just think hes way off form and making to many mistakes atm, we have to many players under performing at the moment and they continually keep there place, no point us having a squad sometimes.

I love how lucky this goal is! He slipped as he went to kick the ball and because of that he got the right amount of curl.
