    have you seen a worse full back defensivly, 2 goals his fault, he was good when piennar was there, now hes shown up to be a pissssssssssssssssss poor defender

    after pienaar left for a couple of months baines was outstanding, but since then he hasnt been that great defensively.


    Milners goal, Both RS goals,  sturridge and ramires goals yesterday, he was involved with all of them.


    baines sometimes just bombs forwards, and expects players to just cover him.

    baines needs to use his head, some games you wont get too many chances to bomb forward, yet baines goes off anyway and leaves us exposed at the back.  his lack of height is also a cause for concern for set pieces, he was no where near terry when he got his header in yesterday


    If we had a back up LB, I would play baines at LM, at least then he wouldnt have to worry about tracking back and we would always have an outlet and creative spark in midfield.


    osman, coleman, felaini, rodwell, cahill, Very little creativity between all 5 of them.

    if we had another left back i would be tempted to play Baines LW and then Drenthe on the RW,

    im really pushing the idea of 3 cb's at the back ( heitinga jags and distan ) the baines and seamus as attacking wing backs

    been saying this for a long time, altho coleman is terrible, sooner have barkley or billy in team ahead of him, even try drenthe on right.

    Coleman just seems really out of form right now, probably best to try and have him come on from the bench more as an impact player to get some confidence back because i miss him being a menace to opposing full backs like he was for alot of last season.

    Dont know whats happened to our defence, from having one of the best defence in the prem to conceding nearly every game!

    Why is everyone having a go at our best player? He was at fault for a goal yesterday but how many times do we say this? I think that both Neville and Hibbert are better defensively but Baines was responsible for about half of our goals last season and he won player of the season, players player of the season and goal of the season.
