Posts: 1,135October 2011 Got to be honest didn't expect anything from city or Chelsea. Unlucky with the red vs Liverpool.
There are very little games you can be confident of getting 3pts from.
No decent forward let alone 2. Consolidation season already and hopefully moyes will realise the importance of scoring.
Boring being a blue. Boring and painful.
The seasons we did finish high up we got a lot of lucky Late goals and winning by 1.

Posts: 589October 2011 Moyes has got to change his formations,we cannot win without strikers.Very mediocre indeed today,lack of concentration on every goal especially Distin and Howard.We have got to start Velios and Drenthe or we will be in the bottom three by Christmas.

Looking at Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb fixtures, I WAS optimistic since its a good 4 months with points for the taking.....but now.....not so much. -

Posts: 7,551October 2011 Yes we need to score goals, but quite frankly the defence has been really poor this season. How many clean sheets?........
Time for Jags(even he said he's not happy with his form), to have a seat on the bench. Heitz and Distin usually do ok together, and Baines needs to have a look at his defensive duties this season also, great going forward if not predictable, but in defence he's been poor. Love Hibbo, but sadly its not healthy at right back either, alternative is Neville, and he's not looking to clever at the momment. He's certainly not a replacement for Cahill!!! whats that all about??? -

I think that was Moyes "Damage Limitation" at that point, putting an extra defensive midfielder on. (Although to be fair, Fellaini did push up into the Cahill position)

Never said it was that straight forward mate.But there is no point bigging up Cahill or defending him when he was s*it! Along with most of the team.Pittyfull performance all round, apart from drenthe and vellios who made more impact when they came on than the rest of the team did the whole game... -
